When you see an awe inspiring look you want to wear, there are three ways to approach that original inspiration.

#1 Recreate the look sticking as closely as possible to the original. Below I've tried to recreate the look piece for piece sticking to the same colors and apparel elements that can be seen in the original inspiration. I've found the velvet teal blazer, beige tulle skirt, white cropped tank, and black with gold hardware belt to recreate this look much more affordably.

#2 Inspired by the original you can take many aspects of the original look to create your own new outfit. People may not look at both looks and say they are the same, but they would see many similarities either in the colors or elements used. Below I grabbed a teal cardigan as my outer layer, a white bodysuit for a more seasonal choice, a beige dot skirt in a shorter and more casual style and finally a black purse with gold hardware to capture all of the original elements. In this inspired look I'm now a bit more casual and find it more wearable in my everyday life.

#3 Elements from an inspirational look can be used in your new look to create a more wearable and even easier to achieve outfit because you may already have a piece or two in your existing wardrobe. The inspirational look is nice to start with because it gives you ideas for pairings you may not have considered. The elements I've chosen from the original inspo look are a teal outer layer paired with a lovely beige polkadot midi dress. Again this time people observing may not immediately identify that inspirational look and may just think you have impeccable style!
